...BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW CAUSING HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS... A band of moderate to heavy snowfall continues to quickly move eastward across portions of central and south-central Kansas. Reports of slick roads and near whiteout conditions have been common with this band of snow. Travelers along I-135 need to be prepared for a rapid reduction in visibility and deteriorating road conditions. Visibility may drop below half of a mile at times. Use extra caution and slow down if travel is necessary.
