In east central Kansas, Anderson, Coffey, Douglas, Franklin, Geary, Lyon, Morris, Osage, Shawnee and Wabaunsee. In north central Kansas, Clay and Ottawa. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall, Nemaha, Pottawatomie and Riley. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms capable of very heavy rain are expected to continue this morning with additional storms this afternoon and evening. Widespread rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are likely, with a few smaller areas of 3 to 5 inches. There is a low chance of very isolated rainfall totals in excess of 5 inches.
