...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON... ...REPLACES FLASH FLOOD WARNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central Jewell County in north central Kansas... Northwestern Mitchell County in north central Kansas... Northeastern Osborne County in north central Kansas... Southeastern Smith County in north central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 504 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 2.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Osborne, Downs, Mankato, Cawker City, Glen Elder, Jewell, Burr Oak, Ionia, Webber, Montrose and Lovewell State Park. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
