...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Mainly minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the following county, Phillips. * WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, along with possibly rural county roads and small creeks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1221 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain due to thunderstorms had been ongoing for the last few hours. Minor flooding is likely ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the Advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have already fallen, and another 1 to 2 inches is possible within the area before rain ends over the next few hours. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Plum Creek, Turner Creek, Deer Creek, West Cedar Creek, Middle Cedar Creek, Spring Creek and Big Creek - Some locations that could experience flooding include...
