The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Red Flag Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from noon to 9 PM CDT Monday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 030 Trego. * TIMING...For the Red Flag Warning, from noon to 9 PM CDT Monday. For the Fire Weather Watch, from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
