KS, Johnson KS, Leavenworth, Miami and Wyandotte and west central
Missouri, including the following areas, Clay, Jackson and Platte.

* WHEN...Through Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is a chance for isolate storms this afternoon, and a
complex of storms is likely tonight.  Additional storms will have
the capability of producing heavy rainfall.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
