At 232 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Willard, moving
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported 70 mph winds 3 miles W of
Dover around 220am.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Rossville, Tecumseh, Dover, Silver Lake, Auburn, Hoyt, Maple
Hill, Delia, Willard, Pauline, Grantville, Potawatomi Reservation,
and Berryton.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 between mile markers 341 and 355.

the following counties, in east central Kansas, Douglas and
Shawnee. In northeast Kansas, Brown, Jackson, Jefferson, Marshall,
Nemaha and Pottawatomie.

* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will be possible tonight
through Monday morning. Rivers and creeks may rise above
flood stage.
