THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 291 UNTIL 2 AM CDT TUESDAY WHICH REPLACES A PORTION OF TORNADO WATCH 287. THE NEW WATCH IS VALID FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHWEST KANSAS DECATUR GRAHAM NORTON RAWLINS SHERIDAN THOMAS IN NEBRASKA THE NEW WATCH INCLUDES 2 COUNTIES IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA HITCHCOCK RED WILLOW THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ATWOOD, COLBY, CULBERTSON, HILL CITY, HOXIE, MCCOOK, NORTON, OBERLIN, PALISADE, STRATTON NE, AND TRENTON.
