* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Kansas, including the following
county, Wabaunsee.

* WHEN...Until noon CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 636 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing.
Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eskridge, Maple Hill and Keene.
- This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 337 and 345.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mill Creek near Paxico.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Low lying farm fields and campsites along
the creek begin to flood.
At 30.0 feet, Campsites on west side of campground begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.5
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
this afternoon.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
