Cloud County in north central Kansas... * Until midnight CDT. * At 1119 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Hubbell to 6 miles southwest of Cuba to 8 miles southwest of Aurora, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of north central Kansas, including the following counties, Republic and Washington. * WHEN...Until 1215 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 904 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cuba, Morrowville, Haddam, Narka and Mahaska. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
