...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY

* WHAT...Flash flooding and areal flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Kansas,
including the following counties, in central Kansas, Ellis and
Rush. In southwest Kansas, Finney, Ford, Gray, Haskell, Hodgeman,
Kearny, Meade and Seward. In west central Kansas, Lane, Ness, Scott
and Trego.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Widespread showers and thunderstorms will spread into far
southwest Kansas early Tuesday with periods of heavy rainfall
being possible at times from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday.
