* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Little Osage River at Fulton.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Farmland at the gage site becomes covered
by flood waters, and Highway 31, east of town becomes flooded.
Highway 31, four miles west of Fulton has flood waters four to six
feet in depth. 225th Street, near Xavier Road, 1 mile east of
Fulton is flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:15 PM CDT Saturday was 27.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 4.4 feet Thursday
evening.
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
25.9 feet on 07/16/2021.

* IMPACTS...At 40.5 feet, flood waters begin to impact low areas on
Happy Hollow Road, Maple Road and 2nd Street north and west of
downtown Fort Scott.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:16 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 40.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:16 PM CDT Saturday was 40.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late tonight and continue falling to 9.4 feet Thursday
evening.

- At 612 PM CDT, Heavy rainfall from last night led to
flooding. Minor flooding is expected to continue in the
advisory area.
