...BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW RAPIDLY REDUCING VISIBILITY... At 1106 AM CST, a band of moderate to heavy snow was located along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Barnard to near Sanford. Movement was east at 50 mph. Moderate to heavy snowfall will lead to visibility under a half-mile at times. Brief periods of visibility under a quarter-mile are possible. Slick spots on elevated surfaces are possible. Travelers along I-70 and I-135 need to be prepared for a rapid reduction in visibility. Slow down and allow for extra time if traveling. This includes the following highways... Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 61 and 95. Interstate 70 between Mile Markers 236 and 266.
