* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by earlier excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...Atchison and Doniphan counties in northeast Kansas, and
Holt, Andrew, Buchanan, DeKalb, Daviess, and Gentry counties in
Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1128 AM CDT, the transportation department reported
flooding in the warned area. Several roads are closed in the
warning area and are expected to remain so for several more
hours.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
St. Joseph, Atchison, Savannah, Gallatin, Wathena, Elwood,
Mound City, Maysville, Highland, Troy, Country Club Villa,
Country Club, King City, Oregon, Agency, Jamesport, Union
Star, Gilman City, Pattonsburg and Amazonia.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO LATE SATURDAY
NIGHT...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Delaware River near Muscotah.

* WHEN...From this morning to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The east approach to the County Road bridge
over the Delaware River around 2.2 miles south of Muscotah is
overtopped by flood waters. Flooding of low-lying pasture and
cropland also occurs. At 34.0 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the
262nd Road bridge over the Delaware River. Widespread flooding of
secondary roads and agricultural land occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning to a crest of 33.1 feet this afternoon. It will then fall
below flood stage late tonight.
- Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
