...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Colorado, including the following areas, Kit
Carson and Yuma, Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne
KS, Decatur, Gove, Graham, Greeley, Logan, Norton, Rawlins,
Sheridan, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace and Wichita, and southwest
Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red
Willow.

* WHEN...Through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in additional flooding of
rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and
flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and
streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
