* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, March 22.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, A very significant flood is in progress.
Emergency flood fighting may be needed. Evacuations would begin
from river cabins in Dodge City. Livestock must be moved.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Friday /9:45 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was
24.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Friday /9:45 AM CDT Friday/ was 24.5
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.3
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, March 21.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.6 feet, INDOT may close SR 358 between SR 67 at
Edwardsport to SR 57 at Plainville due to flooding.  SR 358 floods
on the east side of the river between the levees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Friday /6:00 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 18.5
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM EDT Friday /6:00 AM CDT Friday/ was 18.5
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Sunday afternoon and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.

...Gusty Southwest Winds Expected Today...

Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected through early
afternoon with gusts of 30 to 35 mph. A few higher gusts may
briefly reach up to 40 mph.

The strong wind gusts may result in loose outdoor items being
blown around along with minor tree damage. Travel may also be
difficult for high profile vehicles, especially on east-west
oriented roadways.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Shoals.

* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, High water affects low residential areas
on left bank at Shoals. Some evacuations or moving of mobile homes
is necessary. Local roads flood more extensively. Rural residents
move livestock and equipment to high ground. SR 550 floods on
right bank and also between Trinity and Dover Hill.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 26.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 PM EDT Thursday was 27.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Monday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
