...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 11 AM EST WEDNESDAY... ...EXTREME COLD WARNING HAS EXPIRED... * WHAT...The Extreme Cold Warning was allowed to expire this morning as wind chills have moderated. Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero are expected again tonight into Wednesday morning. * WHERE...Portions of central, east central, north central, south central, southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana. * WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 11 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Use caution while traveling outside.
