Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall from additional storms may cause flooding this evening with heavy downpours. At 22.0 feet, Backroads in town flood. Water approaches US 150. At 23.0 feet, US 150 is closed. At 24.0 feet, Water surrounds some homes along backroads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday the stage was 22.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Tuesday was 22.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.0 feet this afternoon.
