...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Brown County in south central Indiana...
Monroe County in south central Indiana...
Northeastern Greene County in southwestern Indiana...
Southeastern Owen County in west central Indiana...

* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be
passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1257 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen today.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area. Road closures from flooding have been
reported on State Road 45 between Trevlac and Bean Blossom.

Bloomington, Nashville, Ellettsville, Indiana University,
Unionville, Woodville Hills, Whitehall, Smithville, Monroe
Reservoir, Lake Lemon, Yellowwood Lake, Fairfax State

Stone Head and Gnaw Bone.
