* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Driftwood River near Edinburgh.

* WHEN...Until late Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Extensive flooding along Driftwood River
in northern Bartholomew County and of Double Y Saddle Club area.
Tannehill Rd west of bridge and CR 325W south of Lowell Rd are
flooded. Water is on or very close to Lowell Rd and the CR 250W
intersection east of the bridge. Water is very close or possibly
in several residences and seasonal homes along CR 330W and CR
325W. Water is deeper on CR 330W just south of Ohio Ridge Rd and
CR 500N west of CR 250W.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 15.7 feet early Saturday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Sunday
evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

- At 554 PM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in
the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Shelbyville, Edinburgh, Flat Rock, Geneva, Morristown, St.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, A serious flood in progress. Many local
roads are impassable. Some evacuations occur in southern parts of
Carthage, extreme southern sections of Knightstown, eastern
Raysville and rural areas of northwest Rush County. Used auto
parts yard in Carthage is extensively flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:30 PM EDT Thursday was 12.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling and remain
below flood stage.
