...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING TO SATURDAY,
AUGUST 22...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River near Rivervale.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning to Saturday, August 22.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, A few local county roads begin to flood
and are impassable. These include Buddha Road south of the gage
and Lawrenceport Road. All local roads across the East Fork White
River are threatened by high water, and some are closed. Flooding
of agricultural lands in Lawrence County is in progress.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Tuesday morning to a crest of 21.5 feet Wednesday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Saturday, August 22.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Flooding becomes more extensive. Although
this level is fairly frequent, many local and state roads flood.
Seymour gravel pit begins to flood. Livestock and equipment must
be relocated to higher ground. High water surrounds river
residences near Rockford. CR 760 E south of river gaging station
is impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 16.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:45 PM EDT Saturday was 17.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
