...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Randolph County in east central Indiana... * WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 437 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.8 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Union City. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. * WHEN...From midnight EDT tonight through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Narrow bands of 2 to 4 inches of rain will be possible tonight through Thursday morning within persistent rounds of thunderstorms.
