CDT...

At 359 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Olympia Fields to near Grant Park to near
Herscher. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Dyer, St. Anne, Cedar Lake, Kankakee, Limestone, Roselawn,
Merrillville, Hopkins Park, East Chicago, Ford Heights, Manteno, St.
John, Griffith, Crown Point, Aroma Park, Whiting, Schererville,

Michigan beaches. Waves 4 to 7 ft expected.

* WHERE...Lake IN and Porter Counties.

* WHEN...From late tonight through Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...Swimming conditions will be life threatening,
especially for inexperienced swimmers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid dangerous swimming conditions
and do not venture out onto piers, jetties, breakwalls, or other
shoreline structures.

At 336 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 nm northwest of Ohare Airport to 6 nm west of
Diversy Harbor to near Midway Airport to 14 nm southwest of Hammond
Marina, moving northeast at 40 knots. These storms have a history of
producing wind damage and measured gusts over 60 mph across DuPage
and Will County.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high
winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.

Harrison-Dever Crib, Burnham Harbor, Hammond Marina, Wilmette Harbor,
