Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 351 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... At 219 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Muncie, Kokomo, Alexandria, Winchester, Windfall, Yorktown, Union City, Greentown, Albany, Eaton, Parker City, Farmland, Lynn, Summitville, Gaston, Selma, Ridgeville, Orestes, Saratoga and Ball State University.
