Flooding of basements occurs with water possibly extending to the first floor. State Road 19 begins to flood. Many local roads in these areas are impassable and some evacuations are necessary. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 19.0 feet early Saturday morning.
