AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Marys River at St. Mary's River near Fort Wayne.

* WHEN...From this evening to early Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Flooding occurs in parks and low farmland
throughout southern Allen County. The City of Fort Wayne starts 24
hour flood fighting procedures.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 15.7 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Monday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Saint Marys River near Decatur.

* WHEN...Until early Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 19.5 feet, Flooding expands into more farm land in
the Decatur area. Flood waters approach Piqua Road...Ohio State
Route 49 and Indiana 101 just north of Pleasant Mills. Flood water
begins to cross Ohio highway 49 north of Willshire, Ohio.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:05 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 17.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:05 AM EDT Saturday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.8
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
