river begins.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:10 PM EDT Wednesday was 12.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.9 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall early Friday morning. It
will rise to 12.3 feet early Friday afternoon. It will then
fall below flood stage Friday evening.

* WHERE...Saint Joseph River Ohio near Newville.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Significant flooding occurs on DeKalb
County Road 42 about 3 miles northeast of Newville. Considerable
agricultural and low land flooding occurs along the St. Joseph
River to the Cedarville Reservoir.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
