At 800 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles west of Brandenburg, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Brandenburg, Leavenworth, Ekron, Mauckport, New Amsterdam, Lodale, Battletown, Titus, Sirocco, and Cedar Flat. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tell City, English, Carefree Town, Mount Pleasant, Cannelton, Marengo, Milltown, Leopold, Troy and Leavenworth. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
