Tipton County in central Indiana...

* Until 1230 PM EDT.

* At 734 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 1
to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Elwood, Tipton, Windfall, Westfield,
Cicero, Fortville, Sheridan, Arcadia, Atlanta, Sharpsville,
Kempton and Morse Reservoir.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Additional rainfall is expected this morning through tonight
which will lead to additional flooding. This is potentially a
very dangerous situation, and citizens should remain aware of
conditions in their area and be prepared to take immediate
action if rising water threatens or warnings are issued.
