...Patches of Black Ice and Lingering Fog Possible Tonight Into Early Wednesday Morning... Mild temperatures this past afternoon caused notable snow melt across the region, with some lingering wet spots on surfaces and roadways. Temperatures are expected to fall below freezing in some locations overnight, and a few patches of black ice are possible if re-freezing occurs. Use caution if traveling, especially if surfaces look wet. In addition, some patches of dense fog may develop after light rainfall this evening. The combination of reduced visibility and patches of black ice could be increasingly dangerous for overnight travel. Use caution if out and about.
