* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Edwardsport.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.9 feet, A 25 foot section of Levee Unit 8 failed
at this level on March 6 2011...flooding local roads behind the
levee.  Flooding not nearly as bad as June 2008 levee failure.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:00 AM EDT Friday /6:00 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was 21.5
feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 AM EDT Friday /6:00 AM CDT Friday/ was 21.5
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
Tuesday morning.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 23.5 feet, Water from the Great June 2008 Flood
recedes from SR 257 south of Washington.  The river stage at
Shoals was less than 10 feet and less than 14 feet previous day.
The Lost River was low...except for backwater from the East Fork
White...during this entire flood event.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Friday /10:30 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was
21.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM EDT Friday /10:30 AM CDT Friday/ was 21.8
feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.3
feet Sunday morning.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Shoals.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night to Saturday, May 30.

* IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, West River Road east from Shoals flooded
in at least two locations. Residential area near McBrides Bluff
isolated by high water. Low lying county roads east of McBrides
Bluff also flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 16.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday morning to a crest of 22.7 feet early Tuesday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Friday, May
29.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
