* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.

* WHEN...Until Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Lowland flooding in progress. Flood waters
close SR 225 just south of the Wabash River near Battleground.
Walking and bike trails in Tapawingo Park area are flooded. Warren
CR 350 N in the Black Rock Preserve area flooded. Flood waters
near Tippecanoe CR 950 W south of CR 75 S.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 16.8 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 PM EDT Monday was 19.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Friday morning and continue falling and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Many local roads are impassable.  High
water backs up into Mud Run, cutting off some county roads just
northwest of Covington.  North Sandhill Road begins to flood from
Mallory Branch.  Mud Creek extensively floods W CR 260 N and
Sandhill Road by backwater from the Wabash River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 25.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 PM EDT Monday was 25.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.2
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage early Saturday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday, August 25.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Extensive lowland flooding in progress.
Flood waters at the edge of SR 234 near Lodi just west of the
bridge over the Wabash River. Several county roads in Fountain,
Parke and Vermillion counties are flooded, some by more than 2
feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 PM EDT Monday the stage was 25.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 PM EDT Monday was 25.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
