* WHERE...Wabash River at Lafayette.

* WHEN...From this morning to early Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Lowland flooding is in progress. Flood
waters near SR 225 between Old SR 25 and Battleground. Warren CR
350 N near Black Rock Preserve and Tippecanoe CR 950 W in the
Wabash Bottoms, Janssen Tract area may be impassable. Fort
Ouiatenon grounds begin to flood. Flooding at the Grandville
Public Access site.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 AM EDT Thursday was 12.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.1
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, A few county roads begin to flood.  Higher
bottomlands begin to flood.  The first cottage upstream from U.S.
136 bridge may become isolated by high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 9.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow evening to a crest of 20.1 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Park in southern Montezuma begins to
flood.  Higher bottomlands begin to flood.  Water backs up most
local tributaries.  River water is at the top of some private
levees.  Lowest county roads begin to flood.  Parke CR 75 W begins
to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 7.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 20.7 feet Saturday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Wednesday, April 08.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
