In northern Indiana, Elkhart and Marshall. * WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 159 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Goshen, Plymouth, Nappanee, Bremen, Syracuse, Milford, Millersburg, New Paris, Benton, Locke, Gravelton, Hastings, Foraker, Waterford Mills, Oakwood Park, Inwood, Lake Of The Woods and Linkville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with rainfall rates up to 1 to 2 inches per hour will be possible overnight.
