...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Driftwood River near Edinburgh.

* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Lowland flooding reported along Sugar
Creek and Big Blue River in southern Johnson County in March 2011.
Lowland flooding begins along portions of the Driftwood River in
northern Bartholomew County. Water is near CR 950N to Double Y
Saddle Club.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 AM EDT Thursday was 12.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.4
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Youngs Creek at Amity.

* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Johnson County Roads 350 S and 400 S west
of US 31 are closed by flood waters.  Upstream in Youngs Creek
watershed, flooding of city of Franklin parks with flood waters
possibly 3 feet deep in some areas.  CR 200 N at CR 75 W on
northwest side of Franklin and CR 250 S west of US 31 closed by
high water.   Amity ditch is out of its banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:15 AM EDT Thursday was 8.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling and remain below flood
stage.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.

* WHERE...Sugar Creek near Edinburgh.

* WHEN...Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, In Johnson county, CR 400 S east of US 31,
CR 725 E north of CR 400 S and Greensburg Road from CR 700 E to CR
800 E are closed by flood waters.  Low agricultural land is
flooded.  A few homes and outbuildings surrounded by high water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM EDT Thursday was 10.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.8
feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
