* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River at Noblesville.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Flooding becomes more serious in the
Riverwood, Clare, and Trails End areas.  Flooding of basements
occurs with water possibly extending to the first floor.  State
Road 19 begins to flood.  Many local roads in these areas are
impassable and some evacuations are necessary.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 5:45 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 19.0 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

Edge Drive.  Many basements in Ravenswood fill with one to two
feet of water.  Some basements fill with three feet or more feet
of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 9.0 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.

the Fashion Mall at the entrance to condominiums begins to flood.
High water affects Ravenswood and River Edge Drive. Many basements
in Ravenswood fill with one to two feet of water. Some basements
fill with more than three feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 14.8 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Sunday
morning.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1045 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain from
thunderstorms Wednesday. Flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the warned area. Up to 3 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Lawrence, Plainfield,
Brownsburg, Beech Grove, Speedway, Danville, Southport, Avon,
Cumberland, Pittsboro, Meridian Hills, Warren Park, Clermont,
Clayton, Jamestown, Homecroft and Rocky Ripple.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
