* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following counties in
Illinois, Cook, De Kalb, DuPage, Will, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, La
Salle, Lake, and Lee, as well as Lake County in Indiana.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
of low lying and flood prone area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Rain, heavy at times, is expected this afternoon into early this
evening. Rainfall totals of 2 inches or more in just a few hours
could occur within the more intense rainfall corridors. This
heavy rain, falling on already saturated soils, would likely
result in flooding, particularly in low lying and flood prone
areas.
