...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Cook and DuPage. * WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Underpasses and roads and streets, particularly low spots, may remain flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 826 PM CDT, The heaviest rainfall is ending. However, doppler radar and automated gauges indicate that widespread rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches fell in the advisory area. As a result, urban and small stream flooding may persist for a few more hours this evening. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chicago, Naperville, Cicero, Bolingbrook, Oak Lawn, Berwyn, Downers Grove, Woodridge, Midway Airport, South Lawndale, Chicago Lawn, Englewood, Bridgeport, Roseland, Chicago Loop, South Shore, Burbank, Brookfield, Hinsdale and Lemont. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
