Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of wind-whipped snow showers tonight through Monday morning may result in locally hazardous travel conditions due to snow coating some roads and areas of blowing snow from the strong winds. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...Boone, De Kalb, Ogle, Winnebago, Kane, Lake IL, McHenry, and Northern Cook Counties. * WHEN...Until 3 PM CST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slick road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Any lingering moisture on untreated roads may freeze as temperatures fall into the teens to around 20 degrees overnight.
