MORNING FOR BOND AND SOUTHERN MONTGOMERY COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...

At 141 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Greenville, Litchfield, Hillsboro, Pocahontas, Taylor Springs,
Coffeen, Mulberry Grove, Schram City, Tamalco, Sorento, Beaver
Creek, Reno, Woburn, Van Burensburg, Pleasant Mound, Pierron,
Irving, Keyesport, Panama and Fillmore.

This includes the following State Parks...
	Lake Lou Yaeger.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 55 in Illinois near exit 52.
	Interstate 70 in Illinois between exits 36 and 52.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

Clair IL and Washington IL and Missouri, including the following
areas, Audrain MO, Lincoln MO, Monroe MO, Montgomery MO, Pike MO,
Ralls MO, Saint Charles MO, Saint Louis City MO, Saint Louis MO
and Warren MO.

* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
