AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Rock River near Joslin.

* WHEN...From late Friday night to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Flooding of unprotected agricultural land
occurs. Water also affects Lundeens Landing Campground.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 6.8 feet and rising.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Saturday morning to a crest of 12.9 feet Saturday
evening. It will then fall below flood stage Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas,
Bureau, Hancock, Henderson, Henry IL, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam,
Rock Island, Warren and Whiteside, Iowa, including the following
areas, Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry IA, Iowa, Jefferson,
Johnson, Keokuk, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and
Washington, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas,
Clark and Scotland.

* WHEN...Through Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Several rounds of heavy rain producing thunderstorms are
expected through Thursday morning across the watch area. The
storms may be slow moving or redeveloping over the same areas
resulting in torrential rainfall and possibly several inches
of rain by Thursday morning.
