* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, August 29.

* IMPACTS...At 23.8 feet, Ball field in Hutsonville is extensively
flooded.  Blacktop road that runs along the Wabash River from
Hutsonville to Palestine is still above flood waters.  Most all of
the roads leading from this road to the Wabash are underwater,
some by several feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.5
feet Saturday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Friday, August 28.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Saturday, August 29.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding becomes more serious.  Water is
approaching critical levels on most levees.  Flooding enters some
river cabins.  Flooding is at the outskirts of Palestine and
Russellville, Illinois.  Flood waters near Illinois 33 between
Palestine and Hutsonville, Illinois.  Many local river roads are
flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday /9:00 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage
was 18.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM EDT Wednesday /9:00 AM CDT Wednesday/ was
18.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 22.1
feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, August 29.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday, August 26.

* IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Extensive flooding is in progress.
Greenfield Bayou levee may leak.  South Lake area extensively
floods. Many local roads are under several feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday /9:30 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage
was 24.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday /9:30 AM CDT Wednesday/ was
24.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.1
feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Wednesday, August 26.
- Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
