* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Southern Cook County in northeastern Illinois...
Southeastern DuPage County in northeastern Illinois...
Kendall County in northeastern Illinois...
Northern Will County in northeastern Illinois...
Northern Lake IN County in northwestern Indiana...

* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding
may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses, roads and
streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 733 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already
occurring in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

South Side of Chicago, Aurora, Joliet, Naperville, Hammond, Gary,
Bolingbrook, Orland Park, Tinley Park, Oak Lawn, Romeoville,
Plainfield, Calumet City, Merrillville, Woodridge, Oswego,
Chicago Heights, Roseland, East Chicago, Schererville, Hobart,
Lansing, Oak Forest and Harvey.
