...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southern Cook County in northeastern Illinois... Southeastern DuPage County in northeastern Illinois... Kendall County in northeastern Illinois... Northern Will County in northeastern Illinois... Northern Lake IN County in northwestern Indiana... * WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Underpasses, roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 733 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
