- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:45 PM CDT Sunday was 18.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 16.8 feet Sunday,
July 12.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

* WHERE...Illinois River at La Grange LD.

* WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Adjacent farmland and wetlands begins
flooding.  Island Road across the river in western Cass County
begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 8:00 PM CDT Sunday was 23.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 21.7 feet Sunday, July
12.
