morning. For the Freeze Warning, from midnight CDT /1 AM EDT/

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing. Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive

* WHERE...Illinois River from Starved Rock Lock and Dam downstream
to confluence with Big Bureau Creek, including the La Salle gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Lower parking lot at Starved Rock State
Park is inundated east of La Salle. High water levels begin to
impact shipping interests along the river.

- At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 21.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected remain nearly steady into
early next week.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, 2062nd Road threatened in Wedron.
Low-lying agricultural land inundated near Wedron.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening and crest in Minor Flood Stage tomorrow. It
is then expected to fall below Flood Stage Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
