* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Boone County in north central Illinois...
De Kalb County in north central Illinois...
Northern La Salle County in north central Illinois...
Lee County in north central Illinois...
Ogle County in north central Illinois...
Southern Winnebago County in north central Illinois...

* WHEN...Until 130 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Roads and
streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 931 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
a line of intense thunderstorms with rainfall rates of 2 to 3
inches per hour moving through the area. Localized flooding of
roadways and poor drainage areas will occur shortly after the
onset of rainfall.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rockford, DeKalb, Belvidere, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Ottawa,
Sycamore, Dixon, Rochelle, Sandwich, Mendota, Poplar Grove,
Genoa, Byron, Oregon, Mount Morris, Amboy, Polo and Sheridan.
