* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Illinois River from Starved Rock Lock and Dam downstream
to confluence with Big Bureau Creek, including the La Salle gauge.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Lower parking lot at Starved Rock State
Park is inundated east of La Salle. High water levels begin to
impact shipping interests along the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is now expected to crest near 24 to 25
feet on Friday.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Illinois River at Henry.

* WHEN...From late Thursday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water begins to affect the marina in Henry
along with minor flooding of land adjacent to the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 22.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Friday morning and continue rising to a crest of 24.8
feet early Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Illinois,
including the following areas, in north central Illinois, Bureau
and Putnam. In northwest Illinois, Henry IL and Whiteside.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall, with some seeing
repeating rounds of storms though the day. There will be the
potential to see around 3 inches or more of rainfall.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
