...GUSTY WINDS AND POCKETS OF BLOWING DUST THIS AFTERNOON... Strong southwesterly winds, occasionally gusting around 45 mph, will continue this afternoon. These strong winds may also produce pockets of blowing dust which may result in brief but sharp visibility reductions. Additionally, showers developing later this evening may produce wind gusts above 40 mph at times. If traveling on east-west oriented roads, be prepared for gusty crosswinds, particularly in higher profile vehicles, and be prepared for sudden changes in visibility.
