- At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms with rates up to 3 inches per hour. Heaviest
rainfall extended from near Northlake eastward across
northern Chicago. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional thunderstorms may develop across the area over the
next few hours leading to flooding.

Park and Oak Forest. Up to 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is likely ongoing or imminent.

evening. Atmospheric conditions are favorable for rainfall
rates up to 1-2 inches per hour. In addition to increased
runoff potential due to urban land cover in the Chicago

is elevated due to recent rainfall.
