* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes.

* WHEN...From Friday afternoon to Saturday, August 29.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Kimmell Park at Vincennes is extensively
flooded.  River cabins begin to flood.  Extensive lowland flooding
occurs in unprotected areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM EDT Thursday /10:45 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage
was 14.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 19.9 feet Tuesday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday, August
29.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, August 30.

* IMPACTS...At 23.8 feet, Ball field in Hutsonville is extensively
flooded.  Blacktop road that runs along the Wabash River from
Hutsonville to Palestine is still above flood waters.  Most all of
the roads leading from this road to the Wabash are underwater,
some by several feet of water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4
feet Sunday morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Saturday, August 29.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Shortcut (gravel road) to Riverton floods
at 20 to 21 feet as Wabash River backs up Turtle Creek a few miles
south of Merom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 12:00 PM EDT Thursday /11:00 AM CDT Thursday/ the stage
was 18.9 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 12:00 PM EDT Thursday /11:00 AM CDT Thursday/ was
18.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.5
feet Sunday evening. It will then fall below flood stage
Friday, August 28.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
