West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph this evening. * WHERE...Marshall, McLean, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, Woodford, and Knox Counties. * WHEN...Until 11 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...For rural locations where little to no rain fell on Thursday, blowing dust may result in localized diminished visibility. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects. ...STRONG WINDS, ENHANCED FIRE DANGER THROUGH THIS EVENING... South to southwest winds gusting 35 to 50 mph will combine with relative humidity values less than 30 percent to result in increased fire danger especially over areas that missed recent rains. Blowing dust could also occur in recently tilled fields, especially in areas where rainfall was sparse during the past week.
